李锦芳，生于广西田林，博士。中央民族大学教授、博士生导师，被评为教育部“新世纪优秀人才”、“百千万人才工程”国家级人迁。主攻侗台语、南方民族语言文化，出版，《布央研究》《侗台语言与文化》《西南地区濒危语言调查研究》《双语与双语类型转换》和The
Buyang Language of South
Chian等著作，发表论文80余入世。成果获北京市、国家民委二等奖。近十几年来专注仡佬、布央敱中语秘央语支语言研究，获国家社科基金、英国伦敦大学等研究资助多项。
