Seven hundred years ago, worshipful Mongol Kublai khan defeated all the opponents and conquered the whole country. His country had a beautiful name, Xanadu.
Marco Polo, an Italian explorer, brought exotic interesting stories and forged profound friendship with Xanadu’s citizens. And also Marco Polo and Kublai Khan were brothers in Arms."

One day, all the people in Xanadu were busy with preparing for seeing off this famous explorer.
皇宫大殿里金碧辉煌，忽必烈汗的宰相福林正俯首听命……
The audience hall of the palace was splendid and magnificent; the prime minister of Kublai Khan, Forint, was submissively hearing and obeying the order....
Khan commanded him to take that golden coin from the underground treasure-house, and Khan decided to give it to his friend who was leaving ---Marco Polo.
As soon as Forint heard this, he objected to Khan immediately, ”I request you to reconsider it, my honorable, smart master. If you give that golden coin to the foreigner, it may lose its magic power... And if the coin fell into the enemy’s hands to oppose you, it would....”
“What? You are saying that Marco would become my enemy? How dare you doubt my friend?” Khan was so angry when he heard this. And Khan commanded Forint to take golden coin at once. Forint had to leave silently."
Night fell and the square had displays of fireworks. People cheered for beautiful fireworks showing in the sky and everyone was so happy as if it was holiday.
Kublai Khan and Marco Polo stood on the terrace of palace, watching the sky with full of fireworks and feeling sad for the upcoming leaving.
To make Marco feel better, Kublai Khan decided to tell his friend about the gift.
