Drunk driving has become a serious form of
murder. Every day about twenty-six Americans on the average are killed by drunk
drivers. Heavy drinking used to be an acceptable part of the American masculine
image, but the drunken killer has recently caused so many tragedies that the
public is no longer tolerant.
Twenty states in the United States have
raised the legal drinking age to 21, reversing a trend of 1960s to reduce it to
18. After New Jersey lowered it to 18, the number of people killed by 18- to
20-year-old drivers doubled, so the state recently upped it back to 21. Some
states are also punishing bars for serving customers too many drinks. As the
casualties continue to occur daily, some Americans are even beginning to
suggest a national prohibition on alcohol. Reformers, however, think that legal
prohibition and raising the drinking age will have little effect unless accompanied
by educational programs to help young people develop responsible attitudes
towards drinking.

juvenile delinquency become so serious? I think that there are many reasons for
the problem. First of all, many parents are busy making money. These parents
spend little time with their children. The children are prone to act up are
likely to act up because they are not able to get sufficient concern from their
parents.
Besides In addition, unfavourable
circumstances are supposed to take partial responsibilities as well. Young kids
