Marek Hrubec is head of the Director and a Senior Research Fellow of Centre of Global Studies, Czech Academy of Sciences, and a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and of the International Academic Committee of the China-CEE Institute under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
