本教材是根据“十四五”规划,为适应我国旅游业发展的需要,满足教育部教育教学改革要求和教材建设目标编写的。本书共7章:国际旅游业总论、亚洲旅游区、欧洲旅游区、北美洲旅游区、南美洲旅游区、非洲旅游区和大洋洲旅游区。本书系统地阐述了23个主要客源国和目的地国的国土疆域、自然风貌、人口民族、发展简史、政治经济、旅游市场和旅游资源等基本概况。介绍每个国家时,部分以中文为主,第二部分以英文为主,有利于提高读者的英文阅读水平。本书既可作为高等院校旅游管理类专业的教材,也可作为旅游工作者,特别是出入境旅游者的参考书。This textbook is written by adapting to Chinas tourism industry development in the 14th FiveYearPlan, meeting the education and teaching reform demands and the textbook construction goals from the Ministry of Education. This textbook consists of seven chapters: General Introduction of International Tourism, Asia Tourism Region, Europe Tourism Region, North America Tourism Region, South America Tourism Region, Africa Tourism Region and Oceania Tourism Region. This textbook systematically describes the territory, natural features, population, nationality, brief history of development, politics, economy, tourism market, tourism resources and other basic situations of the 23 major tourist source and destination countries. In each country, the first part is written in Chinese while the second part is mainly in English, which is conducive in developing the readers English reading skill. This textbook can be used not only as a teaching material for tourism management majors in colleges and universities, but also as a reference textbook for tourism workers. It is especially useful for inbound and outbound tourists.

2021年7月旅游业作为世界最大以及发展*快的产业之一,对促进世界经济增长的作用日益显著。近年来,中国旅游业也取得了显著成就,竞争力不断增强,旅游大国的地位和作用受到各国重视。纵观世界及中国旅游发展形势,中国旅游业正处于大有可为的战略机遇期。2019年,中国人均GDP已经突破1万美元,旅游消费的需求呈现爆发式增长。其中,出境旅游业增长*快。早在2014年,我国出境旅游人数已突破1亿人次,2019年达到1.5亿人次,超过了入境旅游人次,旅游消费居世界首位。在这种趋势下,如何正确引导和规范出入境旅游发展是我国旅游业面临的重要课题。基于以上原因,江汉大学旅游管理与酒店管理系和外语学院的相关老师通力合作,共同对本教材进行了规划与编写。为了提升教学水平,适应旅游业发展需要,本教材采用中英文双语编写,力图在适应教育部教育教学改革要求的背景下,在教材结构、内容等方面有所创新。围绕发展中国出入境旅游这一主题,本教材致力于体现教学改革的最新理念,有效结合理论与实际,希望能给学生提供更多、更新、更系统、更有指导性的基本理论和知识,使学生更好地了解世界主要旅游客源国和目的地国的基本情况。本教材的主要特色:一是采用中英文双语编写,既符合我国国际旅游业发展的需要,也符合教育部双语教材建设的要求和教学过程的实际需要,读者在开阔视野、丰富专业知识的同时,也有利于提高英文阅读水平。二是编写模式独特,图文并茂。本书除总论部分外,主要分为亚洲旅游区、欧洲旅游区、北美洲旅游区、南美洲旅游区、非洲旅游区、大洋洲旅游区六大旅游区进行介绍,同时增加了旅游区的示意图,可读性强,实用性广。三是资料更详实,数据更新,内容更丰富。本书采用最新资料,紧跟中国旅游业发展实际,全面介绍各大洲主要国家的国土疆域、自然风貌、人口民族、发展历史、政治经济、旅游市场和旅游资源等基本概况。四是每章均给出了与本章内容契合的思考题,既注重了知识性,又突出了实际的运用。五是本教材把一些相关知识以二维码的形式呈现,既丰富了教材内容,又不占用篇幅,同时便于学生学习。本教材编写的具体分工如下:张金霞编写全书的中文部分,王越老师和刘琼老师主要编写全书的英文部分。全书由张金霞负责编写提纲并统稿定稿。本教材在编写过程中,得到了华中科技大学出版社编辑陈然的鼎力支持和李欢社长的热情帮助,在此致以衷心的感谢。由于编者的认识水平和能力有限,本教材中可能仍存在许多不足之处,诚恳欢迎广大读者批评指正。编者Tourism is one of the worlds largest and fastest growing industries. It plays an increasingly important role in the process of world economic development. The Chinese tourism industry has also made remarkable achievements in recent years. Its competitiveness has been strengthened, and its status and role of a big tourism country have been valued by all other countries. Throughout history and the world, Chinas tourism industry is in important period of strategic opportunity for development.Chinas GDP per capita has exceeded $10000 in 2019, the demand of tourism consumption has shown explosive growth. Among them, outbound tourism grew the fastest. As early as 2014, the number of outbound tourists in China has exceeded 100 million, and it reached 150 million in 2019, exceeding the number of inbound tourists. Chinas tourism consumption ranked the first in the world. In this case, how to correctly guide and standardize the development of the inbound and outbound tourism is an important issue for Chinas tourism industry.Based on the above reasons, teachers from the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Department of Foreign Languages of Jianghan University worked together to plan and compile this textbook. In order to improve the teaching level and adapt to the needs of tourism development, this textbook is written in both Chinese and English, trying to make innovations in the structure and content of the textbook under the background of meeting the education and teaching reform requirements from the Ministry of Education. Around the theme of developing Chinas inbound and outbound tourism, this textbook is committed to present the latest ideas of teaching reform.
